Hertz in Belgrade

Located just under 20km from the centre of Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, Belgrade Airport (also known as Nikola Tesla Airport) sees over 5 million travellers through its terminals each year. Connected to the rest of the country by an extensive network of motorways and highways, this airport is a convenient starting point for exploring Belgrade or travelling further afield by car from Hertz Car Rental.

Hertz Car Rental has been supplying stylish and comfortable rental cars to its international customers for decades, helping millions of motorists get to where they need to be, quickly and conveniently. Those arriving at Belgrade Airport benefit from a superbly-appointed branch, with an exclusive range of vehicles to suit every requirement.

About the Airport

Belgrade Airport was first opened for air traffic in the early 1960s. At the time, it only had one passenger terminal building and a 3,000-metre-long runway. Two years after opening, the runway was extended, and a second terminal building was added. The addition of ILS CAT equipment allowed the airport to operate under conditions of reduced visibility and, in 2005, six extendable passenger bridges were introduced. Since then, Belgrade Airport has been a main hub for international and national flights, serving over 5 million people each year.

Further modernisation was carried out in 2012 and, in 2018, the airport complete construction of a new control tower. Belgrade Airport has more than 60 check-in desks and almost 30 gates. The Hertz Car Rental branch is close to the bag check areas, and easily accessible from the Arrivals lounge.

How to rent a car at Belgrade Airport

The branch of Hertz Car Rental at Belgrade Airport is open from 08.00 until 21.00, seven days a week. This branch operates an After Hours Drop Off service and an After Hours Pick Up service, either of which can be arranged in advance, through the Reservation Centre.

Child seats are available for those travelling with little ones and there are Ski Equipped Rental Vehicles, for those hitting the slopes.
