The cheapest SUV on the fleet to run

The 998cc three-cylinder turbo produces 97hp and 140Nm through a CVT automatic — modest figures that suit a light car well. It reaches 100 km/h in about 10 seconds and tops out at 180 km/h, so highway merging and cruising at UAE speeds are entirely comfortable.

Who this is not for

If you regularly carry five adults plus luggage, or spend most of your time at 120 km/h on the Abu Dhabi road with a full car, the Raize will feel stretched. A Corolla Cross or RAV4 is the better fit for that. The Raize is at its best with one or two occupants doing mostly city miles — and in that role nothing else on the fleet comes close on cost.
