We are more than happy to include additional drivers into customer’s rental agreements for a nominal fee. However, the person named on the reservation must be the primary driver and be present at the time of vehicle pick-up. The vehicle cannot be collected by the additional driver on their own, so the person who is the key signatory on the agreement must accompany them when they come to collect the vehicle. It is also vital that any additional drivers added to a rental agreement qualify as per the standard terms and conditions for all customers, including having a valid driving license that has been held for a minimum of 12 months.
It’s easy to add extra drivers for a fixed fee per addition – simply inform the Hertz representative at the time of booking, or at any time during the agreement by calling our helpline or visiting the nearest Hertz branch.
Hertz reserves the right to accept or decline any request to add additional drivers to any rental agreement.
